The heroine 's name in the second syory was either Jane or Anne, depending on which paragraph you were reading. Predictable and not the least bit exciting. Good thing it was very very short.
Both of these books were a wonderful read. Hard times back in those days. Work was hard but so worthy for everyone.

I was given this ARC and I voluntarily write an honest review.The book descriptions for these books give enough info about the books. Any more info, in my opinion, would be spoilers.Both books were well written and held my interest throughout each one.In book 1 written by Indiana Wake, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Ada adjust from a very strict religious community to a different relaxed one and becoming a bride to Colt, a man she didn’t know. Colt also had to adjust being married to a mail order bride. I enjoyed seeing what they went through to arrive to their HEA.In book 2, by Emma Ashwood, an author, who is new to me, we have Ann and Russell’s story. Ann’s little brother is another important, obviously lesser, part of Ann and Russell’s story. I enjoyed what led Ann to became a mail order bride and being Russell’s choice to be his M O B and accepting Ann’s brother. It was an interesting and enjoyable story.I thoroughly enjoyed both of these books and feel they are well worth reading. I enjoyed having these to books all in one and highly recommend it!
I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review. I enjoyed both the books in this set about mail order brides going west after living all their lives in the northeast. If the cross country train and stagecoach trips weren't hard enough, they were marrying men they only knew through letters. Both authors did excellent jobs of writing convincing and interesting books. They are worth reading if you like clean romance stories.
The books showed women who were facing desperate times who took a leap of faith that going to a new place would have to be better than the life they were living. They used their strengths to make a better life for them and their new husbands.
I'm always enjoyed the many colourful stories of Indiana Wake, the second author was unknown to me before this. As always I enjoyed the story of the young woman of Indiana's , the banished woman was at a lost as that was to become of her.
Simple plots of life changes with little control for the young woman of the past. Both become mail order brides to change their situation of destitution.
