Bought 4 Intro to ARCH class, author is very knowledgeable & educated in the field and informative of the pros and cons of the architectural field. The author is very articulate, but if you have dreams of becoming an architect.....don't read this book. Most lofty ideas will be squashed in the first couple of chapters, but it is true to reality!

Be able to get over a loss in twenty four hours.Otherwise, the position is too big.10. Emotional makeup and discipline is more importantthan IQ. (i.e. IQ is still important)11. To win, you have to be the minority contrarian.And the most important is this:12. Watch idly when profit is running. When losing,run like a jackrabbit. After reading both Market Wizards and The New Market Wizards I see there is more potential in trading for me. Then don't listen to all the "talking heads" or friends and family. Just study and learn what you can then find and tweak your edge. This is a modern day trading classic and the book should inspire all traders. I should say, all traders who really want to improve their results. Schwager brings up that point in so many of his reviews of the top traders, that many are constantly trying to improve. I have wanted to read this book for many years and I should have many, many years ago but now that I have it is certainly one of the books that can be read several times.

Within every interview are nuggets of wisdom that will be of great benefit for the reader to absorb. Every serious trader has read them, probably more than once.[...]

A bunch of interviews with traders. Some interesting and some less interesting, but that can be expected. You are bound to find some of the interviews very interesting. The book is probably best if you have a couple of years of trading experience, but it can certainly be read by a novice as well.I would say it is more of a book you read one chapter at a time and for fun, rather than in a focused manner. If you come across something surprising then you read more carefully and maybe investigate a bit more.
