This book is terrible. It reads like someone took the notes they’d copied and pasted from online sources in preparation for this book, and then just decided the notes were the book and published as is. It’s hard to read, hard to identify a clear, coherent idea in any paragraph, section, or chapter, and hard to imagine what I’m getting from this that’s any different than spending the time I’ve spent trying to read just googling the topics one by one instead. A jumble of cut-and-paste. Truly awful and I wish I had my money and time back.

Well, I thought I understood AI and ML. Before even reaching the half way point in the book, I was immediately confronted with the fact that my understanding of this field was about as poor as Jamie Dimon's understanding of bitcoin. Brigette Hyacinth has created a well written, very easy to understand book that takes a true educator's approach to teaching AI. Her chapter on Fintech, a topic I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in, is immediately up to date and accurate, demonstrating a deep understanding of this rapidly emerging field as well. Many times I had to recheck the publication date as her information seemed as fresh as the material in the news just yesterday and in my classes this past few weeks. I encourage anyone who plans to be around five years from now to read this book and then plan to learn more and more to prepare for the future described by this visionary with both feet firmly on the ground and a vanishing point clearly in the futures. She clearly sees the tsunami approaching and has sound ideas for the rest of us to prepare.

Wow! I really love this book. It talks about all the things I heard about in science fiction movies as a kid. The author covers many areas of artificial intelligence an how it is being used now and in the future. Reminds me of the movie Terminator. (One of my favorites) This is a must read for anyone who likes science that is "not fiction."

The Future of Leadership is a cautionary tale of finding the balance between accepting the rise of automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence, and remaining human. Using our moral compass, the book portends, we can navigate this fourth industrial revolution with aplomb. The caution within stresses misguided novelties and the ever-present profit before people may be a self-fulfilling prophecy of fearing this new digital world, and that unchecked, it just may take over.However, it is Brigette's easy-to-read, large print font, broken up by bullet points and graphics that also makes this book a great guide for future leaders. Not only is it well researched, it also provides actionable tasks that can be accomplished by every one of us - the leaders of our own lives as it were. I just finished reading Brigette Hyacinth’s book. I can’t commend her enough for this masterpiece. She was able to fit decades’ worth of knowledge into less than 300 pages full of fascinating insight.The book addresses questions concerning automation, robotics, and AI. Imagine the pros and cons of self-driving cars... imagine showing up to work one day and finding out that your new boss is a robot... how about this: you get pulled over and to your surprise, Robocop is the authorized officer...How will advances in technology change the global workforce? Great book, very informative but, also very scary of the changes we are to experience within the next 10 years. I work in an IT school without any IT knowledge. Love this series. Started reading it at 40 something years old.... I’ll be 61 soon and will read every new House of Night book published.

Generally love the HoN books but this book ending disappointed me**spoilers** Z gets to see Heath (and his black cheerleader girlfriend) but he doesn't get to see her and I am totally Team Heath, especially with what a possessive ass Stark was in this book. Was never big on Stark to begin with. I want Zoey and Heath to have a second chance and Stark to take a leap off a high cliff. That being said it was still a good book just very dissatisfied with the ending but it isn't the end of the series so I shall ever hold out hope for Heath and Zoey until the very end.

I truly love these books. I have reread all of the books numerous amounts of times within the past 8 years.I was slightly disappointed with this book though.I have zero right to critique, but I just feel like everything was rushed through and detail, life, suspense, was missing from this book. It was still great to read, I just felt like it was missing everything I loved most about all of these books: Life.

I've been reading the House of Night series since the first book came out and I love this Otherworld twist she's given us in the glimpse at their happy ending. The Nerd Herd saving the day once again!

I loved every thing about this version of the story line I Like It where there's two different worlds and the people that are in each world that are the same find that each one is different from the other in some ways but are the same in others and they both have to fight for their world from nefert and I think that is just the greatest book and I cannot wait for the Third if there is one keep on writing thank you

Other Kevin returns to his world and trouble begins. Zoey is withdrawn and moody because she knows that other Kevin is being drawn to the dark magic. She knows she has to go to the other world and save him. Can she? Great read

HON and the Other World Series are always fascinating and will leave you wanting more. I hope that the Other World Series continues since the journey in both worlds is never over. I wouldn’t mind other spin offs about the other main characters lives.

I waited for a year for this book and it was well worth the wait! I read the first page and was unable to put it down. Some parts made me laugh while other parts I did get a little teary-eyed. I highly recommend this book to HoN fans!

I strongly suggest and highly recommend you buy all 3 books because when you start reading the first one, you won't put it down until you get to the very end of his life story, which is in the 3 book that he finally seems settled with his loving wife and a son he loves more than life itself....it shows how he went from absolutely nothing to being an award winning writer and public speaker who has helped tons of people! I recently purchased his brother's book, "A Brother's Journey", by Richard Pelzer and will be starting it soon... When Dave was removed from the home at age 12, unfortunately his brother Richard took his place at the hands of an extremely abusive mother. If it's anything like Dave's first 3 books, I won't be able to put it down until I'm finished! Yes, this is why I strongly suggest you get all 3 of Dave's books (and even the 4th, his brother's book) because each one I read, I did it in a little over one day! Unfortunately, I didn't have all three books... I had the first one... when I finished it, I went nuts waiting for the next 2 to arrive LOL. So don't be like me - have all 3, possibly 4, ready to read because you'll be very surprised how fast you'll go through each book - and YES it's that interesting you won't stop reading until completely done - with ALL of the books! ;-)

I first read this book about 15 years ago. When I picked it up and read the inside of the cover, it was so sad that I wept. I was so emotionally moved that I went on to the first chapter. As I continued reading about Dave Pelzer's dark childhood experiences, my weeping stopped and before I even realized it my sadness turned into anger and I couldn't put the book down.I work with "At Risk" teenagers and some of them can relate to these stories. Although some of them are just whiny brats, complaining about their parents and thinking the world owes them something and to stop blaming everyone else for their behavior.So I like them to read about an individual that really suffered at the hands of his parents. I want them to understand the differences between coming from a home with a loving family that enforces rules and gives good direction and one that is truly terrifying where there is abuse, neglect, fear and constant struggle.

If you haven't read about this child's life yet it is a real eye opener. I picked up a book called " A brothers journey" from a pile of books a coworker was getting rid of. I started reading it and totally got lost in the book. That was written thru the eyes of the brother. This book is written by the child himself. I'm looking forward to reading this point of view. And this book was in good condition when I got it, is 3 books in one for a really great price.
