The pictures are detailed and I believe I will enjoy coloring them. I just got the book and haven't had a lot of time to look at it completely but it seems that there are color photos in the back to show what the creatures look like in the movies.

I love these books. Yes they are double sided, non-perforated pages. For me that just means I got to experience more with colored pencils. Thats a plus. As far as the pages sprawling across 2 pages being uncolorable I find that false. A lot of people are complaining about the merperson page. I've attached a picture of my finished one.

I liked many of the pictures in this book, however, I'll be returning it. There are just way too many double page spread pictures that go into the binding loosing faces and important details of a picture. For the price of this book, I expected better. I shouldn't have to break the spine of a nice coloring book I paid decent money for in order to color the pictures. Some of the nicest pictures in the book are those that go into the binding, which is really disappointing.

There are 3 things I don't like about this coloring book.1- pictures are printed on both sides of the page. This means you have to be careful about what you use to color (markers/pens bleed through, colored pencils can make indentations to the other side).2- Some of the pictures are drawn across 2 facing pages. These don't look nice because there is a gap in the middle of the picture where the pages meet.3- The book does not lay flat, so it's hard to color the edges sometimes, and if you're in the front or back of the book (as opposed to the middle), you have to hold the book open while you color sometimes.I do like the pictures and think they are fun to color. I just wish they had put more thought into the actual format of the physical book.

I love Harry Potter. I have bought all the coloring books. This is the first I received so today I worked in it a lot!Paper quality is so so. It's not terrible like copy paper but it could be thicker. The color is off white. The book has double sided pages a con. The artwork varies greatly from page to page. Some has poor line work ( seems unrefined) some are very nice lines. The images go into the binding making it difficult to color some pages.Over all I love the book for the great things but they really should have been able to release a better product.

I love these coloring books but my only complaint is with them being two sided. I know someone commented and said that all adult and children's coloring books are that way but I have 20+ adult coloring books and they are all one sided, so I wish Scholastic had done the same with these ones. It makes the coloring utensil selection difficult to make sure things don't bleed through the paper. I also wish the paper was white and not off-white. That being said, they're great coloring books for HP fans and the images are very nice. I am looking forward to owning the rest of them.

I like this book, although the images aren't as complex as some of the other Harry Potter books. Still fun to colour. Dual-sided pages mean you need to be cautious what you use to colour with. At least the characters look close to what was shown in the movie and there is a guide in the back with coloured pictures to help you refresh your memory on how you could fill them in. (I personally like to make them all look different based on whatever random mood I am in.)Overall, this is a really fun book to look through and even more fun to colour. A nice way to commemorate a set of books and films that has really taken over our hearts.

I love HP and the variety of characters in this book. I just wish the back grounds on some of them were more relevant. For example the backgrounds of Buck beak and the Cornish pixies. I personally don't like when an image spans two pages but I can live with it for hours of Harry Potter coloring. :)

(13) Throughout his career as a Spanish translator abroad, he'd regale Latin Americans who'd begged him to "say something in Irish" with a hodgepodge recited from rote.McCaughan, as one who has lived far from Ireland for much of his five decades, wonders why he took his Spanish from basics to fluency, while Irish languished. He puzzles over his surname and the silence from his Co Antrim-born father, who never revealed his side regarding sectarian origins, and the tug that pulls this son back. Dwelling in the Burren circa 2014, he takes advantage of Raidió na Gaeltachta online in caring for the 'fever' which inexplicably had consumed him to tackle, this time almost from scratch, another tongue. Union with this common resource unlocking centuries of lore past and present motivates his quest, rather than nationalism, Leaving Cert scores, or atavistic pride.Next to a continent where many citizens may communicate between four languages easily, the default refusal of most Irish to choose their native option continues to vex not only McCaughan and those he interviews and quotes. Compulsory lessons can't bear all the customary blame. And while a short glossary of Gaeilge terms and a brief list of sources consulted appear, the lack of an index thwarts recall of names, places and materials within this data-rich text.McCaughan reasons that if Irish 'disappeared out of our families one word at a time', its erosion may be reversed by phrases enriching conversation. Adults seek out Irish too, within not only West Belfast communities which welcome what was long persecuted.Concluding this journey around Ireland, McCaughan repeats the experience of others who have sought to find themselves through Irish. Native or learner, both find 'this is no country for Irish speakers'. However, there is a catch...You Must Do The Work. For anyone wanting to change Thor life, this book will help only if you do the work. If not, your wasting your money.

Ahhh, would not leave me alone because I haven't rated it yet.... I'm not done with it yet! A work in progress... I haven't finished the book yet, but like what I've read so far.

l also started from scratch. But I had more than Jim did. A very good beginning to start changing your life.

Very well written. I got a lot from this book that I am using now. I have given the book to my daughter.

Used this for both my children! Not only did we love it so did our Doctor. She would walk in look through the book to see how they were sleeping, eating, and having dirty diapers and what their routine was. We were able to answer questions better as well. Yes, we would write in the book at 2 am, but then we wouldn't remember or the other would take the baby. Look at the book in the morning and we would know exactly and how much they ate when, etc..... Also was great for babysitters/daycare/grandma and grandpa..... everyone knew what the routine was and mom and dad knew what happened while they were gone. It's a very simple book, but absolutely worth it! We never did find an app that worked equally as well.

This indispensable journal made it possible for a harried mommy-brain like myself keep track of all of the baby activity that was necessary to track in the early days/weeks/months of a new nursing infant with health issues. The format makes it simple to record all the regular feeding, sleeping, pooping activity and any other noteworthy items that may be important to record. It made it so easy to report to the doctor during our visits - We didn't need to remember anything with our scrambled sleep-deprived brains. We would simply hand over the book and it said everything the doctor needed to know. Not only a useful document, it was an oddly comforting thing for us new addled parents to record the information in this little book. It provided at least some level of validation that we were properly monitoring and caring for our child. We are really glad to have had this book and would recommend it to any parents of a new baby.

Oh my word I love this thing! My son spent a week in NICU when he was first born, and I was unable to feed him for the majority of that. So I had to pump, and take meticulous record of when he pooped/peed and how much, when he ate and how much and so on. When we got home I wanted to keep tracking so that I could make sure he was getting enough nutrients - as he had been on IV for a week and as such was very under weight.Anyway, this book is set up very nicely. It is easy to track anything you would need for your little one. Every left page is a "notes" page where I tracked when I took my meds (since I had to time everything from waking my little one, feeding him, taking my own meds etc), and every right page is where you track their eating/pooping/peeing/sleeping times. It was very useful to have all of it together.On top of that, the book is nicely made. You don't have to worry about losing pages, as they are quite thick and won't rip out. My oldest son has thrown that thing down the stairs, across the room, walked around holding just a few pages, just about anything short of throwing it in my toilet; and it has done just fine.I am very glad I purchased this book; it has made my life a tiny bit easier with all the crazy of having a newborn.

This log is so nice, we got some paper log sheets while we were stayed at the hospital, to help the nurses keep track of our baby. Our doctor recommended we try to keep a log even after leaving the hospital, so I ordered this log. So far it's been very helpful as far as tracking our baby's feedings and diaper changes. It definitely helps us know what to expect as far when he'll wake up and when he's extra hungry.

I love this book. I am halfway through my first one and am going to order a second. I would recommend this as a shower or hospital gift for new parents. I am a second time parent with an 11 year gap. I forgot how you need to monitor every feeding, poop, etc. with a newborn. The hospital gave us a few worksheets to take home, but I had loose scraps of paper everywhere, which were bound to get lost, and I wanted a cute log to keep as a permanent memory of baby's first year. This book helps you track feedings via breast or bottle, sleep and awake time, poopies and pee pees - there is also a lot of room for making your own notes - each open page has a blank page for notes and the opposite side is the fill in the blank tracking sheet. It is also small enough to throw in the diaper bag when you're out and about or at the doctor's office and need information. It is totally helpful.

I am breastfeeding and pumping so I needed a way to keep track of all the feedings, poop/pee and pumpings. The hospital gave me a sheet of paper to keep track but I didn't want a bunch of loose paper hanging around so I got this and I love it. It comes in a nice spiral notebook and with nice quality paper. There is an area for all your essential numbers and info at the beginning of the book and columns for the date, time, BF minutes, bottle ounces, sleep/wake times, and wet/poop diapers. One thing they could add is another column for pump volumes. I use each backside sheet for notes about the day, doctor's visits, etc. It's lasted about 5 weeks for me and I've already ordered my second one. I wouldn't say it's absolutely essential since you could just write these things down on paper or a regular notebook, but it's nice to have one that's this size and made especially for baby.

This book saved my sanity when my son was born! The log the hospital gave me was terrible so I am really glad I had already ordered this log book and had packed it in my hospital bag. I used it for about a month or two until we got really comfortable in a routine and my pediatrician said we were ok to not log feedings and diapers anymore. My husband and my mom were able to follow the log too so there was no confusion when they changed any diapers.

I love this book because its everything we need to keep track of our little one. It helps me communicate with our daily caregiver and we can look back and see exactly what happened each day when we pick him up.
